This was the climax of an extra-ordinary night of praise during the Evening Praise Gospel Concert in the city of Bradford hosted by Chuks UKor, who was also the main Artist of the night who arranged and performed the songs with the able support of his Band.
The energy, delivery and hunger to express heart felt gratitude and joy was over whelming and contagious. The African Contemporary Praise Medley effortlessly combines beloved contemporary worship anthems with the vibrant, high-energy pulse of African rhythms, delivering a sound that is both spiritually uplifting and irresistibly danceable. This groundbreaking fusion reflects Chuks Ukor’s unique artistic vision and ability to merge diverse musical influences while staying true to the core of gospel music. It’s always been my dream to blend the powerful energy of Afrobeat with the moving melodies of contemporary worship. The medley that flows in this medley is a celebration of both our faith and our culture, and I’m thrilled to share it with the world.
The African Contemporary Praise Medley includes popular worship songs that have been reimagined and infused with Afrobeat sounds, creating a unique listening experience for worshippers and music lovers alike. Credit is given to the original composers of the songs featured in the medley, whose works have deeply influenced and inspired the creation of this vibrant, cross-genre composition.
